After-School Fresh Raspberry Pineapple Smoothie

This sweetie asked me to make her a smoothie after school yesterday.  She wanted it to be raspberry and  pineapple.  She had just seen me  cut up the pineapple.  A healthy snack?  Yes, I will be happy to blend that up for you!

It. Was. Delicious.

I didn’t measure up my ingredients but I do want to share the recipe with you.  I am estimating the amounts:

1/2 cup 2% milk, 1/2 cup cranberry juice cocktail, 1.5 cups ice, 7-8 fresh raspberries, 3/4 cup fresh pineapple chunks, 2 TB sugar, 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt.

I put the yogurt in the blender first, then added the juice, and milk.  Blend.  Then add fruit and sugar.  Blend. Then add small amounts of ice, blending alternatively.

Sidenote:  We just finished our covered deck last summer.  Just got these beautiful table and chairs for our deck.  They are teak chairs and a matching aluminum table.
